When we were given a task, at first we did not know where to go shopping. Fotunately, that weekend there was the annual market called Onrejský jarmok (Andrew's market) in Komárno. In this market vendors sell their goods, for example home-made products, clothes, decorations, food, drinks and many, many others. Both groups went there to spend their Money. The first group, Adam and Matúš, had to spent 50€. They were spendig their Money very carfully, because they wanted to buy only typical Slovak articles of high quality. In the end they bought a wooden basket, two bracelets and a pullover with traditional Slovak motives. Ráchel and Patrik were in the second group. They were given 150€. They enjoyed their Money a lot. At first they spent 40€ on attractions. Then they bought a lot of things for their family and friends, for example a discoball for a birthday party, a small pumpkin for Patrik's mum or a big wooden heart for his girlfriend because he wanted to show how much he loves her. Some Money they spent for food, for example Ráchel ate typical Slovak cheese with bread and marmelade. Finally this group spent 133€. After shopping we went to Europe Place in Komárno to talk about their purchase. The first group was very satisfied with their shopping, because they were looking for hand-made Slovak goods and they thing that they bought the best ones. The brand was not important for them and they would not Exchange any of the items. The second groupd was also happy about their purchase. However, after shopping they realized that they spent a lot of Money on useless things, for example fun attractions or the wooden heart for Patrik's girlfriend. They think, that it is easier to spent Money you were given that Money you have to work for.
We have already made our shopping video. You will be able to watch it really soon. :) Also, we freshly redesigned our blog so it better matches the theme of MAGIC project. If you are too much interested you can at least see how we made our video on pictures below. Stay tuned for more information! :)
Ráchel was in Malta I have spent three weeks of my summer at Malta. It was the most amazing experience in my life, I went there alone to increase my English skills and to have fun and enjoy summer. I met there a lot of amazing and interesting people I will never forget. The program was great I think, we had a lot of activities and even in school I was never bored because of the teachers which learned us. On the other hand, our social leaders were great as well, we had a lot of funny times with them, even once we got really lucky when I was with my Russian, German and Slovak friend on pizza challenge we met them in Valetta and they gave us ride. We went there on lot of parties, swam in sea a lot of times, jumped into water from rocks and reefs had one of the best ice-creams I have ever eaten. There was only one minus the food, I do not mean food in restaurant or patisserie I mean school and hotel. But anyway this is definitely the summer I will never forget I am really grateful to everyone.
Gabika was in Zuberec Slovakia is beautiful country with amazing nature. I spend my holiday with my family in charming village called Zuberec. Zuberec is located in north of Slovakia in the Western Tatras. We spend here one unforgottable week. We have made a lot of tours, for example tour to Roháče waterfall, that last 6 hours. We have also visited one of the most beautiful Slovak castles – Orava castle. After visiting the castle we were sailing on the Orava river around the castle. Holidays in High Tatras are always perfect and I can´t imagine summer whithout visiting them.
Matúš, Adam and Ráchel were on Uprising reggae festival in Bratislava One of the best experiences of this summer holiday was definitely Uprising raggae festival where we went with Adam to see a lots of excellent musicians. And as it usually goes on festivals we were camping. First day of our trip we met Rachelle from our group and then the rest of time we were all together. Uprising was really amazing! Positive energy, yummy vegan food, cool attractions and workshops were all around. During performances we danced and danced and danced also there were some efforts for singing Uprising had really great and busy program.. there were stars like Krs-one with his real Hip-Hop, Jimmy cliff perfoming awesome moves, Shaggy with his show, Dub fx,Slovak scene etc. Weather was only the thing which we would change ..but on the other side without storm and a lot of rain we wouldn't experienced for example running barefoot in deep mud at 1AM also the camping was much more interesting. Ultimately we managed everything and enjoyed the whole trip. We can't wait for next year Uprising ! Maybe with bigger representation from comenius.

I couldn't wait to the August, becouse my really holiday has been started since August. On 4th of August morning me, 6 my friends and my girlfriend sat up on train to Siófok, which is along Balaton, tha biggest lake in central Europe. Siófok is one of most visited places in Hungary. We were swimming and playing volleyball in the water. Yeah, it was great fun and I want to go back, right now :/ Here is a picture from dock with my girlfriend:
I continue my summer holiday in Prague, where I go with my girlfriend again, and with her family. I can say that Prague is amazingly beutiful. The old buildings in the centre of the city got me. I couldn't find words how good was there. Some photos from Siófok and Prague:

We made an online answer sheet because we wanted to know what people think about dogfood and catfood. 24 Slovaks sent us answers to 5 questions and added their own oppinion. Check answers (every question could have more than 1 answer) below...
Most of people choose food according to own experience (12), they prefer middle package (13) of granules (18) bought in specialized store (15). Most of people (21) own dog.
We chose some own oppions...
1.Home made is the best...
2. We should alternate type of food for pets...
3. It should give necessary nutrients...
4. Our dog prefers food...
5. I like the diversity of dogfood...
6. We shouldn't save money on dogfood, people don't save money on their food neither...
7. Certificated and expensive is the best...
8. I would recommend raw feeding (BARF). Our 11 years old dog doesn't have any problems...
9. If you know what dog's/cat's organism needs (vitamines and minerals), then you don't have to buy granules. I think home made food is the best. Granules can cause health problems...
We found this topic to be very interesting but with obvious result. In our group we think the most promoted products are perfumes. There are perfumes promoted by famous people such as Brad Pitt, Scarlet Johansson, Rihanna or boyband called One Direction. Now, everybody is asking why perfumes? Well, we think the answer could be that there are a lot of people (majority) buying them. Perfumes don't cost as much as cars and they look luxurious. Especially women have strong relation with perfumes and what man wouldn't do for his woman? :) Check some proofs below. We picked some perfumes commercials.
We had to choose three types of advertisements from these categories : TV ads, radio ads, internet ads, billboards, magazine ads or email junks. We chose internet ads, billboards and TV ads.
Slovak TV advertisement of Alza.sk, internet based shop.
I don’t know a person, who hasn’t heard about this small green alien. This is the most annoying and irritating advertisement in the last time. This is an advertisement in internet, television, radio and billboards. I hear him every morning when I’m listening to a radio, how he is crying with his unbearable voice, that they are handing out 100 tablets every week. I don’t want to hear him again. Listen him one time and you will share my opinion. - Patrik Busanski
Good : nothing
Bad : too loud, anoying
Result : bad
New Zealand's goverment's advertisement.
This is an example of well-made advertisement. It's really unique and clever idea how to tell people "Don't drive too fast!". I am sure after you see it you will be thinking about it... :) - Adam Mészáros
Good : idea, well-processed
Bad : nothing
Result : good
This is a billboard advertisement of company called Popradský čaj (Poprad tea). Big blue words on the billboard translated to English : Blue cockerel* is enough.
Word kohútik has two meanings in Slovak. First is tap (voovodný kohútik) and second is cockerel/cock (kohút). In this case "kohútik" is softly said "kohút".
We found this billboard really amazing because you can't see what is it appertaining to. Viewer can just see an interesting slogan with Picture. In short... this ad acts secretly so viewer is biased in main message and then search more information. - Matúš Ďurčo
Our logo won the Logo competition so it is the official logo of Comenius project! Created by Matúš Ďurčo from our group and Petra Kerepecká from 4th group.
