Homework num. 1

Homework number 1

We had to choose three types of advertisements from these categories : TV ads, radio ads, internet ads, billboards,  magazine ads or email junks. We chose internet ads, billboards and TV ads.

Slovak TV advertisement of Alza.sk, internet based shop.

I don’t know a person, who hasn’t heard about this small green alien. This is the most annoying and irritating advertisement in the last time. This is an advertisement in internet, television, radio and billboards.  I hear him every morning when I’m listening to a radio, how he is crying with his unbearable voice, that they are handing out 100 tablets every week. I don’t want to hear him again. Listen him one time and you will share my opinion. - Patrik Busanski
Good : nothing
Bad : too loud, anoying
Result : bad

New Zealand's goverment's advertisement.

This is an example of well-made advertisement. It's really unique and clever idea how to tell people "Don't drive too fast!". I am sure after you see it you will be thinking about it... :) - Adam Mészáros
Good : idea, well-processed
Bad : nothing
Result : good

This is a billboard advertisement of company called Popradský čaj (Poprad tea). Big blue words on the billboard translated to English : Blue cockerel* is enough.

Word kohútik has two meanings in Slovak. First is tap (voovodný kohútik) and second is cockerel/cock (kohút). In this case "kohútik" is softly said "kohút".

We found this billboard really amazing because you can't see what is it appertaining to. Viewer can just see an interesting slogan with Picture. In short... this ad acts secretly so viewer is biased in main message and then search more information. - Matúš Ďurčo
Good : idea, not annoying
Bad : nothing
Result : good
